ABOUT

Ellen Bjerborn is media artist born 1995 in Malmö, Sweden.

Her artistic practice hunkers under three ominous forces; nature, technology and the supernatural. Through film and video she moves closer to these obscured powers that loom over the human experience. She recently completed Diorama, a film looking at how the field of biology abstracts nature's processes into symbols and has since 2024 worked with art in an expanded field of participation and community.

She holds a BFA in Product design from Parsons School of Design, NYC.
